Jesus Gave Up His Life for Us
1 John 3:16
We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. (1 John 3:16)
If you want to know what real love is, look to Jesus. Jesus gave His life on the cross for others. His love is sacrificial and generous. Spend time meditating on how Jesus lived while He was on the earth. He helped others, cared for them, healed them, taught them, and fed them. Ask God to show you how you can be more loving to others. ~ Jeff M Newman
