Jesus Gives Eternal Food
Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.” (John 6:27)
You do not have to work to get eternal life. The Son of Man, Jesus, will give you eternal life. Jesus says, that He is the “Bread of Life.” When you eat the food that Jesus offers, you will live forever. How do you do this? You start by putting your faith in Jesus. Then, you regularly consume the eternal Word of God. Jesus is the eternal Word of God. When Jesus was tempted in the desert, He answered the tempter by saying, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” (Matthew 4:4) ~ Jeff M Newman
