Jesus is the Bread of Life
John 6:48
I am the bread of life. (John 6:48)
We all need to eat food in order to survive. Jesus is saying that He is the food that gives you eternal life. When you eat regular food, you will get hungry again. When you eat the bread of life you will have eternal life and never hunger. You eat the bread of life by having faith in Jesus. Romans 10:17 says, “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” Eat the bread of life by filling yourself with God’s Word. Jesus is the Word. When you partake of God’s Word you are filling yourself with the bread of life. ~ Jeff M Newman
