Jesus Is Worthy

Revelation 5:9

And they sang a new song: “Worthy are You to take the scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. (Revelation 5:9)

This verse is part of the vision given to the Apostle John in the book of Revelation. It takes place before God’s throne. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders sing a new song, celebrating Jesus because He is the only one worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. When the seals are opened, judgments will be released upon the earth. When you believe in Jesus, you are saved from the judgment to come. Spend some time reflecting on the love that Jesus has for you, as He shed His blood to save you and sing a new song to Him. ~ Jeff M Newman
