Jesus Saves People From Their Sins

Matthew 1:21

She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21)

The name Jesus means “The Lord shall save.” You need a savior because you have fallen short of God’s commands. The penalty for sin is death. God loves you so much that He sent Jesus to pay the penalty for your sins on the cross. When you think about the birth of Jesus, think about the gift of salvation that God gave you through Him. ~ Jeff M Newman
