Act wisely toward outsiders, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. (Colossians 4:5-6)
At the time this was written, early Christians were under constant attack because they refused to worship the gods of Rome and Greece. The same is true today—Christians are often opposed and criticized for their faith in Christ. In light of this, we are called to walk in wisdom and let our speech always be gracious (see Colossians 4:5–6). Pay careful attention to the words that come out of your mouth. Do your words build others up, or are they marked by complaint and criticism? How you speak and act reflects the character of God. Let every word and every deed be done to the glory of our gracious Lord. ~ Jeff M Newman

Jesus Offers Life Giving Water
But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life. (John 4:14)
