Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. (Psalm 1:1-3)
God promises great blessings and prosperity when you meditate on His Word day and night. He says you will be like a tree planted by streams of water, with deep roots and a fruitful life. Take a moment to examine your life. Are there influences pulling you away from the Lord? Remove them and turn your focus to God. Spend time with Him today. Read His Word, think deeply about the verses, pray over them, and let them sink into your heart. As you meditate daily, you will see your life begin to change. ~ Jeff M Newman

Lesson 70 - 1 John 2:28…and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
Lesson 5 - 1 John 1:1...and touched with our own hands...
Welcome back to our verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. Last lesson we focused on how God wants you to gaze upon Him, to be transfixed by Him, to really study Him, to analyze Him, to look closely at and behold Him, to believe in Him, and to fix your eyes on Him.
