Put to Death the Deeds of the Body
Romans 8:13

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
In order to purify yourself, you must rely on the Holy Spirit to help you put to death the deeds of the body. This is not something you can accomplish by your own willpower. The deeds of the body are the actions and patterns that flow from the sinful desires of the flesh.
