If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. (John 15:10)
Jesus commands you to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love your neighbor as yourselves. Jesus promises to help you to do this by trusting in Him daily. Jesus is the perfect example of obedience. He obeyed His Father completely through His sacrificial death on the cross to pay for the sins of man. To understand what love is, look to Jesus. Spend some time, right now, meditating on what Jesus did for you on the cross. Ask Him to help you to have this same sacrificial love for those around you. ~ Jeff M Newman

Friendship With the World Is Hostility Toward God
You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (James 4:4 NASB)
