But Jesus called them aside and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them. It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:25-28)
In this context, the mother of James and John asked Jesus to grant her sons positions of honor and authority in His kingdom. This led the disciples to discuss who would be the greatest among them.
Jesus responded by clarifying what truly leads to greatness. He explained that they should not exercise dominance over the people they are leading but should instead serve them.
Jesus commands us to serve others, as this is the path to greatness. We can look to Jesus as our ultimate example of true service, as He demonstrated it by giving His life on the cross to pay for our sins.~ Jeff M Newman

Ask, Seek, Knock
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8) Jesus wants you to bring Him your needs and prayer requests to Him. He is listening. Pray about every little thing to God.
