God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12)
When you are going through testing and temptation, remember this verse. God promises to bless you and give you the crown of life when you endure and obey Him.
The enemy wants you to give in to your temptations and disobey God because he knows that this will rob you of life. When you obey God and resist temptations, you will be blessed.
Think about how you feel when you give in to sin. There is usually regret and pain. Plus, in some cases, giving in to temptation can cause lifelong consequences.
Choose to endure temptation rather than sin and you will be blessed. ~ Jeff M Newman
