He will be the sure foundation for your times, a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure. (Isaiah 33:6)
The fear of the LORD is having reverence and awe of the LORD. It means to understand how much the LORD hates sin and to understand the serious consequences of sin and to seek to obey Him rather than rebel against Him. There are so many benefits to fearing the LORD. He will be your strong and sure foundation when life gets difficult. He will save your soul. He will provide you with wisdom and knowledge to live your life. The more you understand and embrace the fear of the LORD, the more you will understand what a treasure it is to have it. ~ Jeff M Newman

Listen to: Lesson 50 - 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they did not belong to us.
Lesson 2 - 1 John 1:1…which we have heard…
Welcome back to our verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. Last lesson we focused on how Jesus is eternal. In this lesson, we are going to focus on hearing and obeying God.
Impact Others For Christ
You yourselves are our letter, inscribed on our hearts, known and read by everyone. It is clear that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. (2 Corinthians 3:2-3)
