2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
In order to truly see Jesus, God must shine His light into our hearts. This is an act of God’s grace. When Christ is in your life, you walk in the light He provides. As you continue to walk in that light, your knowledge of Christ deepens and becomes clearer, until the day you will see Him as He is. Spend time today looking to Jesus and longing to see Him face to face. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Don’t swear at all. Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’,’ and your ‘No’, ‘No.’ Keep your word. Be truthful and have integrity with your words.
Matthew 5:33-37 Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill your vows to the Lord.’ 34 But I tell you not to swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 or by the earth, for it is His footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Nor should you swear by your head, for you cannot make a single hair white or black. 37 Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more comes from the evil one.
