2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.

Grace means unmerited kindness or a generous gift. This is the undeserved favor that God extends to sinners. The Lord Jesus Christ means that Jesus has ultimate authority. He is the Lord. Christ means the Anointed One or the Messiah who was promised in the Scriptures. Jesus is the Lord and the promised Messiah who extends grace to you.

Next, we have the love of God. This refers to God’s selfless and sacrificial love. This is the love that sent Jesus to die on the cross for your sins. Nothing can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, God demonstrated His love for you.

Finally, we have the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Fellowship means communion, participation or sharing. Through Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross, we can have fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit. As believers, the Holy Spirit indwells us, teaches us, convicts us, comforts us and empowers us.

This is the heart of the gospel. It is not based on your performance, but on God’s grace. Take a moment today to reflect on the grace of Jesus, the love of God and your fellowship with the Holy Spirit.~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands

Pray with faith and do not doubt.

Matthew 21:21-22 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
