The Holy One to Be Born Will Be Called the Son of God

Luke 1:35 The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, not by a human father. From His conception, He is the Holy One. He did not inherit the fallen sin nature that belongs to every descendant of Adam. He is truly human, yet without sin.
Our purity is progressive. As we look to Christ, we grow in holiness over time. But He has always been perfectly pure.
Because He is pure, He is the spotless Lamb who was sacrificed to take away our sins. Through His sacrifice, you can be fully reconciled to God.~ Jeff M Newman
