“The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” (Mark 1:15)
Throughout the Old Testament, we encounter prophecies regarding the arrival of a King, and now that King is among us. That’s what the time is fulfilled, the kingdom of God is near means. The gospel carries the joyful message that Jesus has come to offer salvation and restore our relationship with God. Jesus invites us to place our faith in Him as our King, to repent from our sins, and to accept the gift of salvation. ~ Jeff M Newman
