The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! (Revelation 19:6)
Let’s break down the word omnipotent. There are two parts: omni and potent. In Latin the word omni means “all” and potent means “power.” Therefore, omnipotent means all powerful. Another word that is commonly used for this is “almighty.” God is more powerful than we can fathom. Have you ever thought about how much power it takes to control the entire universe! This means that God is powerful enough to help you through your challenges in life. Look today, to the all Lord God Omnipotent and worship Him. ~ Jeff M Newman
