Let’s break down the word “omnipotent.” It has two parts: “omni” and “potent.” In Latin, “omni” means “all,” and “potent” means “power.” Therefore, “omnipotent” means “all-powerful.” Another word often used for this is “almighty.” God’s power is beyond what we can comprehend. Have you ever considered how much power it takes to sustain and control the entire universe? This same God is powerful enough to help you through every challenge in your life.
