The Lord Is Compassionate and Gracious
Psalm 103:8–12

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion. He will not always accuse us, nor harbor His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:8–12)
This passage teaches about the depth of God’s mercy and the vastness of His love toward those who revere Him and take Him seriously. It’s easy to carry the guilt and shame of sin, but remember that when you put your faith in Christ, your sins are forgiven and removed from you as far as the east is from the west. So even if you stumbled yesterday or a minute ago, trust in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Look to our compassionate and gracious Lord today, and rest in His unfailing love. ~ Jeff M Newman

That message truly touched my heart and reminded me how great the mercy of our Lord is The words from Psalm 103 show us the depth of God’s love so vast that He removes our sins as far as the east is from the west It’s a truth that gives peace to every soul that has tasted grace and forgiveness We live in a world full of brokenness yet the Lord continues to show compassion and patience day after day As Lamentations 3:22-23 says Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed for his compassions never fail They are new every morning great is your faithfulness” These verses remind us that every sunrise brings a new chance to walk with God to begin again under His mercy and to live out His purpose with gratitude and faith
Please keep our ministry in India in your constant prayers Every week we cook food and share it with the children while teaching them about Jesus and the hope found in His Word These children come from humble backgrounds and yet their faces light up with joy when they hear about God’s love As Christmas is approaching we are praying to bless them with small gifts that will remind them that Jesus is the greatest gift ever given Sometimes it feels challenging when resources are few but Philippians 4:19 strengthens us “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” We believe the Lord will provide in His time and that through every act of kindness many hearts will be drawn closer to Him We also pray for those who are standing with us in faith supporting us through prayer and encouragement Your love and care mean more than words can express The harvest is truly plentiful but the laborers are few yet we keep moving forward in faith knowing that the One who called us is faithful to finish what He began May God’s grace abound in your life and may you continue to be a vessel of His compassion as 1 Corinthians 15:58 reminds us Therefore my dear brothers and sisters stand firm Let nothing move you Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain
