The Lord Is Compassionate and Gracious
Psalm 103:8–12

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion. He will not always accuse us, nor harbor His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:8–12)
This passage teaches about the depth of God’s mercy and the vastness of His love toward those who revere Him and take Him seriously. It’s easy to carry the guilt and shame of sin, but remember that when you put your faith in Christ, your sins are forgiven and removed from you as far as the east is from the west.
So even if you stumbled yesterday or a minute ago, trust in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Look to our compassionate and gracious Lord today, and rest in His unfailing love. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Change yourself and become like little children. Approach God with childlike humility, trust, and openness.
Matthew 18:2-4 Jesus invited a little child to stand among them. 3 “Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
