The Promise of Eternal Life

1 John 2:25

And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life. (1 John 2:25)

When you place your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you receive eternal life. Eternal life is not only the promise of living forever with God in Heaven, but also a present reality—an abiding, loving, and joyful relationship with God through Jesus Christ. ~ Jeff M Newman
