The Spirit Of The LORD Will Rest On Him
Isaiah 11:2
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD. (Isaiah 11:2)
In this verse, Isaiah is speaking about the coming Messiah. The Messiah, or Jesus Christ, will be filled with the Spirit of God. When Jesus was being baptized by John, a dove came down from heaven and rested on Him. Jesus was empowered by the Holy Spirit for His mission to save the lost. The Spirit will give Jesus wisdom, understanding, counsel, strength, knowledge and the fear of the LORD. Ask God right now to fill you with the Holy Spirit and empower with these same qualities, to live your life. ~ Jeff M Newman

Hold On To Hope
Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
