The Testing of Your Faith Produces Perseverance

James 1:2-4

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, a whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:2-4 NIV)

You are going to face many kinds of trials in this life. When you are experiencing a trial, which could be happening right now, it is important to know that God has a plan for it. He is going to use this trial to produce perseverance in your life. Perseverance is the strength to continue to trust, obey, and follow God even when the trials are severe. This strength comes from the Holy Spirit's work in your life. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit to help you through your trials. ~ Jeff M Newman
