Things That Come From the Spirit of God

1 Corinthians 2:14

The natural person does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

The natural person is someone who lives only by human reasoning, senses, and desires. They do not have the Holy Spirit living within them. Because of this, the things of the Spirit of God appear foolish to them, and they are unable to understand them.

Remember this: the world does not truly know Christians because it lacks spiritual discernment. Over time, the world may stop recognizing you and may not understand your convictions, boundaries, or hope.

Yet even when you are unseen or misunderstood by the world, you are fully known by God. You are a child of God. This is your new identity in Christ. ~ Jeff M Newman
