This Is What I Desire: to Dwell in the House of the Lord All the Days of My Life
Psalm 27:4

Psalm 27:4 One thing I have asked of the LORD; this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.
This was written by King David. In context, David was facing great danger and opposition. Even though enemies were trying to kill him, above all else he desired closeness with God.
He longed to dwell in the house of the LORD, gaze upon His beauty, and seek Him continually.
Let seeking Christ surpass everything else in your life. Make fellowship with God your highest priority.
Even when you are busy with countless responsibilities, spend time seeking Him through prayer, worship, and His Word.
As you abide in Christ, your relationship with Him will grow deeper. He loves you and desires fellowship with you. ~ Jeff M Newman
