Those Who Wait Upon the Lord Will Renew Their Strength
Isaiah 40:31

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
Waiting on the Lord means listening carefully to the Lord and looking for ways to serve Him and serve others. Think about waiting on the Lord like a waiter at a restaurant. A waiter comes to their guests, asks them what they would like to eat, brings them their food, and checks on them to see if they need anything else.
The waiter wants to please their guests. If you want to know what the Lord wants from you, spend time in the Bible and ask God to show you what He wants. Then, act on those requests. When you are fulfilling His requests, He will give you the strength to do what He is asking. ~ Jeff M Newman
