Romans 6:5 For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.

When you put your faith in Christ, you are united with Him in His death and in His resurrection. You are a new creation in Christ. This means that death no longer has the final word over your future, and you will live eternally with Jesus.
