Walk by the Spirit
Galatians 5:16

Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
In order to experience purification, it is essential that you walk by the Holy Spirit rather than attempting purification through your own willpower.
To walk by the Spirit means to live under the Spirit’s guidance, power, and influence, depending on Him moment by moment.
As you yield control to the Holy Spirit, He produces His fruit in your life. Walking in the Spirit results in not gratifying the sinful desires of the flesh, because the Spirit’s desires now govern where the flesh once ruled. ~ Jeff M Newman
