But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)
True fellowship with other believers comes when you put God at the center of your life. You can only have a relationship with God because of what Jesus did for you on the cross.
Once you believe that Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, spend time in the Bible and with people that believe in Jesus. As you walk in the light, God will reveal areas where you need to grow.
Get prayer and accountability from other believers that desire to walk in the light as well. This is what will help you grow spiritually and relationally with others. ~ Jeff M Newman
If you have any prayer requests, please share them in the comments so I can pray for you.

Lesson 28 - 1 John 2:5 But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him...
Welcome back to the Hope Bible School verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. This is Jeff M Newman. Get a new lesson every other week on Monday at 12:00 PM Eastern. In this lesson we are going to study 1 John 2:5. You are going to learn that the goal of the love of God is to help you mature spiritually, to help you keep His word, and to love Him.
Love Bears All Things
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians 13:7) Do you have people who bother you? God is calling you to bear all things. That means that in order to love them, you have to hope in them and not harm them. Ask God to fill you with His love for them. Do kind things for them. Don't respond in bitternessโฆ
Thank you.
