1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
Our goal as Christians is to pursue purity, because one day we will see the pure One. However, if we do sin, we have an advocate before the Father.
The reason Jesus can advocate before the Father, is because He is the Righteous One. This means that He is sinless and undefiled. He is the spotless Lamb.
Be thankful today, knowing that Jesus Christ is your advocate. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Humble yourself before the lord.
Matthew 23:11-12 The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
Luke 14:7-11 When Jesus noticed how the guests chose the places of honor, He told them a parable: 8 “When you are invited to a wedding banquet, do not sit in the place of honor, in case someone more distinguished than you has been invited. 9 Then the host who invited both of you will come and tell you, ‘Give this man your seat.’ And in humiliation, you will have to take the last place. 10 But when you are invited, go and sit in the last place, so that your host will come and tell you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in front of everyone at the table with you. 11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
