Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
When you put your faith in Christ, you are forgiven of your sins and justified. Justification means that you are declared righteous before God, just as if you had never sinned.
This is a legal declaration by God. His righteous judgment has been fully satisfied in Christ.
Because of this grace, you have peace with God and access to Him through faith. This is a certain reality, not a feeling that comes and goes.
Because of this, you can have deep joy in the hope of the glory of God.
This hope is a confident expectation that you will see Him, be made like Christ, and enjoy eternal fellowship with God.
Take a moment to reflect on these truths and let them give you joy today. ~ Jeff M Newman

Matthew 10:19-20 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
