Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24)
Jesus is calling you to work hard. However, Jesus wants you to work hard for Him and not for men. God promises eternal rewards when you do this. These verses apply to all areas of your life, whether you are working at your job or at home. Have an eternal proper perspective on the work you do every day. Everything you do matters. Represent Jesus by working hard. Don’t be lazy. Do your work as an act of worship to Jesus. If you want a good example of hard work, read the Gospels and look at how hard Jesus worked for you. ~ Jeff M Newman

Be Quick To Listen, Slow To Speak, And Slow To Get Angry
Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. (James 1:19 NLT)
So true!
