“Away from Me, Satan!” Jesus declared. “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’ ” (Matthew 4:10)
If you are battling temptations today, look at how Jesus handled temptation. When Jesus was in the wilderness Satan tempted Him. Jesus verbally used the Word of God to battle Satan. When Jesus was tempted, He told Satan what the Word says, “Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.” Use this verse yourself. Repeat it over and over “out loud” to battle your temptations. ~ Jeff M Newman
