Psalm 119:165 Abundant peace belongs to those who love Your law; nothing can make them stumble.
This verse comes from Psalm 119, which celebrates the Word of God. This verse shows us that when you love God’s law, or His Word, you will experience great peace. The word “peace” is shalom, which carries the idea of wholeness, well-being, and security.
This doesn’t mean that when you love God’s Word, you won’t experience difficulties in life. However, God’s Word gives you a strong foundation no matter what circumstances you are going through. Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
The next part of the verse says, “Nothing can make them stumble.” This doesn’t mean that you will never sin or make mistakes. Rather, it shows us that God’s Word provides stability and direction as you walk through life. When you know and follow God’s truth, you are less likely to be led away from Him.
Spend time in God’s Word today. Fall in love with His Word. Meditate on it, believe it, and obey it. As you do this, God will use His Word to give you peace and stability in your walk with Him.~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Enter through the narrow gate that leads to life.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.
John 10:6-10 Jesus spoke to them using this illustration, but they did not understand what He was telling them. 7 So He said to them again, “Truly, truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before Me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.
