Anyone Born of God Refuses to Practice Sin
1 John 3:9

Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. (1 John 3:9)
When you believe in what Jesus accomplished for you on the cross, God comes to dwell within you. You are born again, given a new nature, and made a new creation in Christ. This does not mean you will be perfect or never sin, but when you do sin, you will confess it and turn back to God. The Holy Spirit will convict you, and over time you will mature and grow to become more like Christ because you have been born of God. If there is a sin you continue to struggle with, surrender it to God and ask Him for the strength to walk in obedience to His ways. ~ Jeff M Newman

Brother thank you for sharing this the message from 1 John 3:9 is such a powerful reminder of what it truly means to be born of God When His seed His Spirit lives in us something changes deep inside We may still stumble but we can’t live in sin comfortably anymore because the Holy Spirit keeps pulling us back to the Father It’s just like 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness A child of God doesn’t walk in perfection but walks in repentance And I love how the devotional said that God matures us over time That’s exactly what Philippians 1:6 promises He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion Sin loses its power when we surrender it to God and allow His strength to take over As Jesus said in John 15:5 Without Me you can do nothing but with Him the impossible becomes possible Thank you again for sharing this brother May the Lord continue to guide you teach you and strengthen you as you walk in His ways every day
