Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:48)
Jesus is calling you to pursue perfection. He is calling you to align yourself with His teachings and seek to obey Him in all areas of your life. The good news is that this is possible through His strength, grace, and power.
According to Galatians 2:20, Jesus lives in you and will help you live the life He is calling you to live. Put your faith in Jesus and trust that He has the power to change you and help you grow.
God knows that this maturity takes a lifetime, and He promises to help you in your times of weakness. There will come a day when you will be absolutely perfect and be like Him.
1 John 3:2 says, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is."
Even though it may seem impossible to obey this command of Jesus to be perfect, He will help you. ~ Jeff M Newman

Blessed Are The Peacemakers
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9) Jesus wants you to be a peacemaker. In other words, Jesus wants you to resolve any conflicts you have with others. Jesus is the ultimate peacemaker. He resolved the conflict that you have with God by dying on the cross.
