Believe In The One God Has Sent

Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” (John 6:29)
In context, the crowd is asking Jesus what works that they must do in order to please God and meet His requirements. Jesus states that the work of God is to put your full trust in Jesus, to believe in Him.
There is nothing else that you need to do in order to receive eternal life. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
