Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5)
According to Helps Word-studies: "Biblical meekness is not weakness but rather refers to exercising God's strength under His control – i.e., demonstrating power without undue harshness."
This could also be translated as mild or gentle (Strong's 4239, praus).
We read in Galatians 5:23 that meekness is part of the fruit of the Spirit. This can only come through His Spirit. Ask God to fill you with His Spirit.
Ask to be guided and directed by Him. This will allow you to have His strength under His control and to be mild or gentle. ~ Jeff M. Newman

Believe That I Am He
Then He told them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. That is why I told you that you would die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:23-24) Jesus is claiming to be the "I am." This means that He is claiming to be God. He is not of this world.
