Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. (Matthew 5:7)
God is merciful.
In Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT), we read, "The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease."
In Ephesians 2:4-5, it says, "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!"
God's mercy towards you is awesome. He loves you so deeply that He gave His Son to die on the cross to pay for your sins. He also empowers you to obey His commandments and demonstrate mercy to others through the Holy Spirit's power.
God is calling you to exhibit mercy and compassion to those around you. Reflect the mercy that He has shown you in your own life by extending it to others.
Take a moment to ask God, "How can I show mercy and compassion to those around me today?" Also, ask Him to grant you the strength to demonstrate mercy to those you encounter.
Throughout the day, remain attentive to opportunities where you can show mercy to those in need. When such occasions arise, act with compassion and extend mercy.~ Jeff M Newman

Blessed Are The Meek
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5) According to Helps Word-studies: "Biblical meekness is not weakness but rather refers to exercising God's strength under His control – i.e., demonstrating power without undue harshness."
