Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)
Jesus is concerned about the inward condition of your heart.
This can be challenging due to the spiritual war in which we are engaged. We battle our sinful nature and the enemy of our soul on a daily basis.
Here are some steps you can take to purify your heart.
Ask God to search your heart and reveal any impurities.
Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
Confess your sins to God and let Him cleanse you.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Fill your heart with God’s word and let His word sanctify you. Listen to what Jesus says in this verse:
John 17:15 Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.
God is calling you to a life of purity. Take these steps to purify your heart and God promises that when you have a pure heart, you will see Him. ~ Jeff M Newman

And there was a widow in that town who kept appealing to him, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while he refused, but later he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor …
