Build Your House on the Rock
Matthew 7:24
Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (Matthew 7:24)
If you want to build your life on a solid foundation, it is essential not only to read or listen to God’s Word but also to act upon it. When you listen to a sermon or read the Bible, pay attention to what God is instructing you to do. Write it down. Pray for the strength to obey. Add it to your planner. Set a daily reminder on your phone. Write the Scripture on a note and place it somewhere visible. Then, walk in obedience and do what it says. ~ Jeff M Newman
