By His Great Mercy He Has Given Us New Birth
1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (1 Peter 1:3)
God is merciful! When you believe in Jesus, you will be born again. This is a spiritual birth. Without this spiritual birth, you will not be able to have a true relationship with God. When you have a relationship with God, you will have great hope for your future. You will know that you have been forgiven because Jesus died for you, paid for your sins on the cross, and rose from the dead. ~ Jeff M Newman

Perfect Love Drives Out Fear
There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love. (1 John 4:18) There is no greater fear than the fear of being eternally separated from God and eternally punished for your sins.
