He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By His stripes you are healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
Every human has sinned against God. Sin is a spiritual sickness. Because of Jesus’ death on the cross, you can be healed of this sickness. It is only because of Jesus’ sacrifice that you are able to live to righteousness. Jesus will give you the strength to follow Him. ~ Jeff M Newman
