By Their Actions They Deny Him
Titus 1:6

Titus 1:6 They profess to know God, but by their actions they deny Him. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.
Titus is warning believers about people who claim to know God, but whose lives and actions reveal that they are deceiving others and not truly walking with Him. Their behavior contradicts their profession of faith. Jesus taught that people are recognized by their fruit, meaning their actions eventually reveal the true condition of their heart.
This verse should also lead us to self-examination. Do your actions align with your faith? Is there evidence in your life of repentance, obedience, and a desire to follow Christ?
Keep in mind that Christians still struggle with sin and weakness. Believers are not perfectly sinless in this life. However, genuine believers will increasingly desire to abide in Jesus Christ, confess their sins, and depend on Him for strength to obey.
As you abide in Christ and walk in the power of His resurrection through the Holy Spirit, God will continue transforming you to become more and more like Him. ~ Jeff M Newman
