Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh. (Romans 13:14)
Are you struggling with giving in to your sinful desires? The solution is to put on Jesus, just like you put on your clothing in the morning. How do you do this? Start by praying to God right away. Ask Him to cover you, protect you, and guide you. Open up the Bible and read it out loud. Meditate on verses and communicate with God about them.
Next, remove things in your life that make it easy to sin. For example, if you struggle with alcohol, remove it from your home and avoid going to places where it is present. Don't make it easy to give in to your sinful desires by removing triggers that lead you to sin.
