Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires. (Romans 6:12)
When you give your life to Christ, you will receive forgiveness for your sins, you will be united together with Him, and you will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to resist sin. However, you will still have a sin nature. This means that there will be a battle warring inside of you, tempting you to give in to sin. Instead, submit yourself to God every day and resist your sin nature that wants to reign in your life. Obey God instead of your sin nature. ~ Jeff M Newman

Teach The Next Generation About God
Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen, and so that they do not slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and grandchildren. (Deuteronomy 4:9) This is a verse from the Old Testament that served as a reminder to the Israelites to remember their experiences…
