Everyone Born of God Overcomes the World
1 John 5:1-4

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome, because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith. (1 John 5:1-4)
When you truly believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, you are born again and brought into God’s family. God comes to dwell within you by His Spirit and fills your heart with His love. As a result, your desires begin to change. You will love not only God the Father, but also those who are born of Him, your fellow believers.
This love is revealed in a growing desire to obey God and walk in His commandments, not as a burden, but as an act of devotion and gratitude. Through your faith in Jesus and the power of His love at work in you, you are given the strength to overcome the world, its pressures, and its temptations. This faith is your victory, and it is through Christ that you experience true and lasting triumph in your life. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Believe Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him.
John 14:9-11 Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves.
