Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)
Life is full of challenges. Jesus understands what it means to face them—He endured crucifixion. While suffering on the cross, Jesus focused on the joy set before Him. He knew His suffering wouldn’t last forever. Even if you're going through a difficult time, set your focus on God and the joy of having an eternal relationship with Him in Heaven. God will help you through your struggles, and one day, you will see Him face to face. The Bible says that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Fix your eyes on Jesus, who will lead you through your challenges and into ultimate joy. ~ Jeff M Newman
