From Everlasting to Everlasting You Are God
Psalm 90:2

Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God.
Psalm 90 is a prayer of Moses. It is considered the oldest psalm in the Book of Psalms. In context, Moses is reflecting on the frailty and brevity of human life.
He contrasts this with the eternal nature of God. He says that before the mountains were born or the earth was brought forth, God was already there. In other words, He was not created; He simply is.
God has always existed and always will exist. He is not limited by time. You can see this truth throughout history. People grow older, kingdoms rise and fall, and circumstances continually change.
Look to God, for He is eternal. When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you receive eternal life. Because of what Jesus accomplished for you on the cross and through His resurrection, you can live forever in His presence. Worship the eternal God today. ~ Jeff M Newman
