God the Father Runs Toward Those Who Turn Back to Him
Luke 15:20

So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. (Luke 15:20)
This is a parable Jesus told to illustrate the Father’s love for us. In the story, the prodigal son returns home after wasting his inheritance and living a life of sin. When the son comes home, the father sees him from a distance, runs to him, embraces him, and kisses him.
God does not expect you to be perfect before you come to Him. No matter what you have done, the Father will run toward you with compassion the moment you turn your heart back to Him. The love of God meets you even while you are still far off. Just as the father in the parable waited and watched for his son, God the Father is always looking for those who are away from Him and is ready to receive them when they return. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Be deeply connected to Jesus like a branch is connected to the vine and know that the Father will prune you, so you can be more fruitful.
John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. 2 He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful.
